We have been handling the export, import & domestic requirements for a large proportion of the UK gun trade for many years.

We are Registered Firearms Dealers (RFD) and hold a Home Office Section 5 Approval.

​

Our staff are fully trained to handle the shipping & freight forwarding of all types of firearms. PDQ Freight is a Full IATA Member with at least 2 staff members trained & certified to handle and document dangerous goods, allowing us to carry out freight movements internationally

PDQ Freight have been a very long standing member of the GTA (Gun Trade Association). Providing members with guidance and logistics solutions for over 20 Years.

We offer packing & crating services to fit any requirement.

  • Firearm Packing & Casing suitable for Air Freight shipment

  • Ammunition Packing

  • Fine Art Packing - Single or Double crating with foam lined cases (For High Value/Rare Guns or Weapons if needed)

 

Whether it be Purdey, Holland & Holland, a Modern or Antique Gun, we can offer a packing service to suit.

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE & LICENCING

Our team are experts in handling all export, import and licencing matters. All clearances are handled "in-house" to allow for an expedited service without the possibility of errors with using third parties.

  • Direct Link to the UK CDS (Customs Declaration Service) for both Exports & Imports

  • Direct Link to the UK Customs Clearance System (CHIEF) (this is being phased out, with only exports now live until 30th November 2023)

  • Export Licence Application Assistance (Firearms / Military Items / Dual Use Goods)

  • Cultural Export Licence Application Assistance (Antiques, Collectors Items etc.)​

PDQ Freight have fully trained staff able to complete customs import and export entries directly on the new CDS (Customs Declaration Service) which became mandatory on 30th September 2022 for Imports and will become mandatory for Exports from 30th November 2023.

PASSENGER & PRIVATE AIRCRAFT CLEARANCES (MERCHANDISE IN BAGGAGE)

We can provide export & import customs clearance services for firearms/guns personally conveyed on commercial or private aircraft, anywhere in the UK.

 

Also, with a wide range of partners around the world, similar services can be offered globally.

HIGH SECURITY STORAGE & CUSTOMS BONDED WAREHOUSE

Our state of the art security systems provide our customers with peace of mind when storing goods within our warehouse.

We offer storage solutions for Firearms however big or small the requirements may be.

We have a fully authorised customs warehouse facility to be able to store items that are not tax (VAT) and/or duty paid.
